I have used Hoyt’s excellent service for 25 years including during Covid when I never stopped travelling.. During a recent trip we had a little misunderstanding when the LGA flight was delayed and I was charged $90 for calling to push back the pick-up time from my home in NC, even though it was no fault of my own. After several delays the flight was ultimately cancelled and I was refunded the fare without a problem, but not the cancelation fee. Upon my return from the trip I stopped by Cross Street and explained to Santos what happened who as I had expected refunded the cancelation fee without the slightest hesitation. The livery companies clearly took a beating during Covid and may as a result be a little aggressive in tacking on fees but it’s nice to have recourse to the owner to resolve any issues that may arise…
